This week, I remember Violet and Charlie. Finding words has been hard during the grieving process.<\/h5>\r\n<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<\/tbody>\r\n<\/table>\r\n

It’s been a rough week for me. I had several topics to write about (or finish writing and editing) for this week\u2019s content, but I haven’t been able to finish editing what I\u2019ve written.<\/p>\r\n

My cat and office manager, Charlie, passed away on Sunday of last week (2 March) at 14 years and 4 months (due to age related kidney issues). It’s been incredibly difficult to focus on anything else. He joins his sisfur, Violet, who passed away 5 years ago (October 2019) at 10.<\/p>\r\n

Violet joined my home in 2010 as a rescue, and Charlie joined a year later. When Violet passed, Charlie was a little\u2026 grief-stricken (as was I), but we learned to get through. He had a way of curling up nearby while I worked, quietly purring as if offering encouragement.<\/p>\r\n

His gentle presence was a source of calm in the chaos of my writer’s mind. Losing Charlie this week has left another void in my heart and my creative process.<\/p>\r\n

Losing another beloved feline friend has been difficult and emotional, and it\u2019s been challenging to find words. Charlie\u2019s absence has left a silence in my writing space.<\/p>\r\n

Hopefully, I\u2019ll be able to finish writing the topics I\u2019d planned again shortly. But for now, I\u2019ll need to take some time to grieve.<\/p>\r\n\n
