The start of a new year often brings a flurry of resolutions as people strive to improve themselves and their lives. However, New Year’s resolutions are not the be-all and end-all. Sometimes, the focus should be on reflection and gratitude rather than setting goals and making changes.

Also, the holiday season is often a time of joy and celebration, but it can be a tough and challenging period for many. Not everyone experiences the holiday season in the same way for countless reasons: the loss of a loved one or a beloved pet, financial difficulties, or struggling with (physical or mental) health issues.

So, as I look at starting the new year, I thought sometimes it’s not about resolutions. Sometimes, it must be about getting through. And what better way to ring in the New Year than watching must-watch movies? Whether you’re looking for a heartwarming comedy, a thrilling, action-packed film, or a thought-provoking drama, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Here’s a list of must-watch movies to help you kick off the New Year with a bang!

So, grab your popcorn, get cozy, and dive into the world of cinema.
